Ticket emails from
your own domain

Right now your ticket emails work perfectly — they just arrive from the wrong name. This is the one job that fixes it, and it takes about ten minutes at Namecheap.

Today customers receive their ticket from
onboarding@resend.dev

After this change they receive it from
tickets@send.bykonzyard.co.uk

Nothing about your normal email changes. Your inboxes at bykonzyard.co.uk keep working exactly as they do now. This adds a separate name used only for sending tickets, so there is no risk to the mail you send and receive every day.

1Sign in to Namecheap

Go to namecheap.com and sign in with the account the domain was bought on. Find bykonzyard.co.uk in your domain list, click Manage, then open the Advanced DNS tab.

You will see a list of existing records. Do not change or delete any of them. You are only adding three new ones.

2Add these three records

Click Add New Record once for each row. The Host column must be typed exactly as shown — it is a short name, not a full web address.

TypeHostValuePriority
TXT Recordresend._domainkey.sendp=MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDSk4l3KcyELhQnOAQ6IhEnHexwk2Ln2P1ZAH+rsp361iJsKT70BLj3hlUpdFuZXugNPKxac7LzmmZuCLzdcFqm2sI2obnF9IeqCkEx1yvasRvT+pyNzJ8Uc95QF8iqHMb3XSx4W8GjXqW7SYL4UMZlMMT0slHNTDsoOldI7O0EWwIDAQAB
TXT Recordsend.sendv=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all
MX Recordsend.sendfeedback-smtp.eu-west-1.amazonses.com10
send.send is correct — not a typo. Namecheap adds .bykonzyard.co.uk on the end for you, which makes the full name send.send.bykonzyard.co.uk. That is exactly what it should be.
The one thing to get right. Never type @ in the Host box for these three. @ means your main domain, and that is where your real mailboxes live. Every Host here starts with send.

Leave TTL on Automatic. Click the green tick to save each row.

3Tell SISO you are done

Send us a message once the three records are saved. We will confirm the domain, switch the ticketing system over, and send a test ticket to check it arrives from the right name.

Changes usually take a few minutes, occasionally up to an hour.

4Two things we found while looking

Worth knowing, separate from the job above.

  1. Your current email settings have a mistake in them. The record that tells other services your email is genuine points at the wrong place, which can send your normal messages to spam. It is not caused by this change — it has been that way already. We can fix it at the same time; it is a one-line correction.
  2. Replies to ticket emails go nowhere. If a customer replies to their ticket, it currently goes to an address that does not exist. Tell us which inbox you want those replies in and we will point it there.
